  Integrity
  Taking personal responsibility for actions, Learning from mistakes, Following through on commitments. Openness regarding work and projects, Supporting colleagues in meetings, Discuss concerns 1 - 1
   
  Respect
  Sensitive and considerate behavior with one another, Keeping confidence, Listening and caring, Constructive feedback, Not participate in encouraging gossip
   
  Positive Team Environment
  Celebration of achievements, team and individual, Appreciation (e-mails, verbal thank you(s), goodies, stickers, compliments), Giving credit to team, Building rituals (weekend lunches –having coffee together) and/or treats rotated once a month.
   
  Flexibility and Balance
  Time to achieve community work priorities and balance personal life, Feeling you are being accommodated, Everyone feeling everyone is contributing equitably.
  Communication
  Considerate and respectful communicator- eg. ‘please’ and ‘thank  you’
   
  UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIORS
  Lack of Integrity
  Blaming mistakes on  colleagues,  Lack of follow through, Lying, Secret agendas and not sharing work materials, info etc.  Not supporting colleagues in meetings, Embarrassing colleagues in meetings, Withholding information.
  Lack of Respect
  Swearing, Name calling, Not listening, interrupting, ignoring and bullying, Insensitive statements, Critical and offensive feedback, Gossip, Betraying confidentiality, Distasteful, Harassment of all kinds,  No ‘thank yous’, Shouting.
   
   
  RESOLUTION PROCESS
  a) Communicate with the individual on a 1 - 1 basis to discuss the concern
  b) Acknowledge concern; apologize or discuss ways to resolve the problem
  c) Bring in community leaders to assist with resolution
